How does Sōlō Work?

It all starts with a 3D scan at the optician. Our advanced software will scan and calculate the ideal position of the lenses in relation to the eyes. This not only ensures the best frame fit for exceptional comfort but also the best style for the client’s face.

Next the client chooses from a variety of frame styles from the existing collection. The Patient will be able to try on each pair of frames to see what suits them before placing the order.

The lenses are precision cut and the frame is directly printed around them. The result is an incredible visual experience and a personalised fit.

What can be customised?

Frame design styles

Customers can choose from our set styles. But the customisation doesn't stop there. Each set of frames can be manually warped and adjusted to make them wider, taller and you can even adjust the tilt angle and the curve of the front frames.

Colours

Customers can choose from our set colours and specify colours for the frames and temples.

The Fit

Some customers want tight fitting glasses, incase they are doing physical work and moving around a lot. Some customers might want them to fit without even feeling they are there. By adjusting the nose support and the angle of the temples, customers can design the glasses to fit them in just the right way.

Up to 70% Less Waste

3D Printing is an additive manufacturing method. This means it only uses the materials required for your glasses. Nothing more.

As the glasses are 3D printed on demand, there is no need to hold excess stock. The glasses are only produced once an order has been made. So when the trend changes, nothing is wasted.

Sustainability should not compromise design.
